SPINNER has introduced a new low PIM direct current (DC) break. Besides dramatically reduced intermodulation, it also boasts a wide frequency range. Other DC break suffer from poor intermodulation values or are only usable within a very narrow frequency band.
SPINNER has now succeeded in developing a broadband DC break with outstanding intermodulation values that can be used universally across all common radio frequency bands. The inner and outer conductors are also separate, which permits the breaks’s use in projects involving high-voltage cables, for example when building tunnels or railway lines.
Network operators are already benefiting from the new DC break, which they greatly appreciate due to their excellent characteristics. They also make life easier for installers, who no longer have to fumble in their toolbox for the right DC break―one size fits all. It couldn’t get easier than this!
The new low-intermodulation DC break from SPINNER can be used across the entire frequency range from 80 to 3800 MHz and ensures an intermodulation value (IM3) of -160 dBc (-165 dBc typical). It can be ordered with 4.3-10, 7-16, or N connectors (the article numbers are BN 432054 for 4.3-10, BN 766436 for 7-16, and 950720 for N).
