At this year’s SPS in Nuremberg, Germany from November 26 to 28, SPINNER will exhibit an absolute novelty: combined data and power transmitters with clear inner boreholes. These modules are especially well-suited for industrial applications including robots, packaging systems, injection molding systems, and machine tools.
Visit us at our booth (number 2-400) at SPS to get the first data sheets on these devices! We’re looking forward to welcoming you there.
Real time data transmission and power 300W
Real time data transmission and power 750W
The devices in the 300W and 750W power classes combine contactless data transmission with a 24V or 48V industrial voltage. They have a clear inside diameter of 20mm or 50mm with two conduits for real-time data transmission at a rate of 100Mbit/s. A wide range of Ethernet-based bus protocols is supported, including EtherCat with LLF, Profinet and Powerlink.
Since data and power transmission both take place completely contactlessly, the components require no maintenance and are suitable for high rotational speeds (in the case of the 300W version, up to 3000 rpm).
Another focus at SPS in Nuremberg are the optical rotary joints from SPINNER.
SPINNER’s multichannel fiber-optic solutions are absolutely state-of-the-art. They include upto 81-channel single mode fiber-optic rotary joint (x.60 SLAT type) that has been specially developed for offshore (FPSO) and stage applications. It features outstanding insertion loss values for such a large number of channels.
Multichannel fiber optic rotary joint x.60
SPINNER also supplies fiber-optic rotary joints (x.60 SCOT) with up to 36 channels in mixed single mode (E9), multimode G50, and multimode G62.5 versions. The insertion loss parameters of each channel can be flexibly customized.
Dualchannel fiber optic rotary joint in L type
For low-profile uses, SPINNER has updated its portfolio by adding a dual-channel FORJ (2.25 L type). This model is excellently suited for all applications in which compactness matters (e.g. in camera applications) and provides very low torque as well.
