SPINNER Active in NGMN Task Force on 4.3-10

The Next Generation Mobile Networks (NGMN) Alliance (www.ngmn.org) is a consortium of network operators and manufacturers of mobile communications equipment. One of its foremost aims is to ensure the smooth launch of the fifth mobile communications generation, 5G.

NGMN has created a 4.3-10 task force with the goal of introducing the new 4.3-10 connector system to the market. SPINNER is an active member of this task force, in which it is drawing on the experience it gained while helping to develop and roll out 4.3-10 to energetically support this NGMN initiative.

In the medium term, the plan is for 4.3-10 to replace the 7-/16 and N connector systems in the marketplace. 4.3-10 is characterized by excellent PIM properties, a compact shape, and robustness. Specifically developed for the mobile communications market, it is already being used in LTE networks today. At the latest when 5G is launched, it will become the dominant system for all RF connections.

The 4.3-10 connector system was specially created for the mobile communications market and unveiled in 2013. SPINNER played a major role in developing it.
