New compact UHF filters size 40 for DTV mask filtering for low power transmitters

SPINNER is extending the product range of mask filters (for all TV-Standards ATSC, ATV, DVB-T, DVB-T2, DVB-T2 extended and ISDB-T) with a new, compact filter for up to 130 W TX power.

SPINNER continuously improves its portfolio of UHF mask filters to offer models covering all worldwide TV-standards with highest RF performance.

Recently, SPINNER has developed low power filters size 60, then medium power filter size 120 and 170, and culminated this development exercise with the high power filter size 230 offering 18 kW DTV rating in fully tunable coaxial design. Now, the knowledge gained in the development of these filters has been applied to low power filters for up to 130 W with the size 40 filter family.

These filters are available with 6 or 8 cavities and can be tuned to any TV standard in any channel. The hidden tuning element design is also applied to this filter family meaning there is no need to reserve space for protruding tuning rods. Highly reliable 7-16 connectors are used on the filter ports.
